Filson is for Outdoor Adventures!

I love the aesthetic of Filson! Its perfectly rugged, sporty, and classy. It fits with a sporty, outdoor, adventurous lifestyle.

I have been to their Seattle Flagship store, which is on the second floor of the Filson headquarters building. They have some limited edition items that can not be found in other stores. One thing unique to this location is the Filson Restoration Department, where they will restore or rework used Filson products. The results are beautiful! As a big fan of Wabi-Sabi, visible mending, and well-worn products, seeing these restored items was just magnificent. This is what what it means to get better with age. The products tell a story.

Many of the restored products cost more then what they are new, but its the details, the story, the time it takes to mend and restore is what adds so much character and value.

I particularly love their bags, but I do not see how I would use it in my life right now. So for now, I will just admire them.
